UPPSC Lecturer Recruitment 2020: Application has started from Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission on 1473 spokesperson posts of various subjects in Government Inter College from Tuesday. Of the 1473 vacancies, 991 posts are for male and 482 for the female cadre. Notification from the Commission has been issued on the official website uppsc.up.nic.in. Only online applications will be accepted on these vacancies.
There has also been a change in the recruitment process done by the Commission. Only preliminary and main examination will be conducted in these recruitment. Candidates will be selected based on the number of the main examination. Commission Secretary Jagdish said that till now, interviews were also done in the recruitment process for the posts of spokespersons in government inter colleges. But this recruitment will not have interviews. The marks of the main examination will be selected on the basis of merit.
The last date for online fee submission is 18 January 2021 and the last date for submission of online application is 22 January 2021. Commission Secretary Jagdish told that the age of the candidate should be between 21 to 40 years on 1 July 2020. Disabled candidate should not be more than 55 years of age.

Out of 1473 vacancies, 991 posts are of male cadre. Of these, 400 posts are unreserved, 98 posts are EWS, 265 of Other Backward Classes, 210 for Scheduled Castes and 18 posts for Scheduled Tribes. In this order, 203 posts are reserved for 482 posts of women cadre, 42 posts of EWS, 130 of Other Backward Classes, 101 of Scheduled Castes and 6 posts are reserved for Scheduled Tribes.

Details of the subject and vacant posts have been released by the commission. The maximum posts in the male cadre are 137 posts vacant in biology. At the same time, 137 posts of mathematics subject are vacant in the female cadre. Under 991 posts of male cadre, 98 in Hindi, 100 in English, 105 in Physics, 106 in Chemistry, 137 in Life Sciences, 132 in Mathematics, 132 in Sanskrit, 46 in Economics, 47 in Civics, 60 in Geography, 42 posts in history, 30 posts in sociology, 1 in education, 20 posts in Urdu and 11 posts in the subject of commerce are vacant. Of the 482 vacant posts of women cadre, 21 in Hindi, 22 in English, 57 in Physics, 59 in Chemistry, 91 in Biology, 137 in Mathematics, 13 in Sanskrit, 10 in Economics, 15 in Civics, 14 in Geography. , 15 in history, 8 in sociology, pedagogy
