Bihar State Health Committee has invited applications from qualified candidates to fill a total of 660 posts in various categories. Under the National Health Mission, recruitment will be done for the posts of Counselor, Health Consultant, District Community Mobilizer, Audiometric Assistant. Out of these, 579 posts will be filled by the counselor. Interested and eligible candidates have to apply online for these posts. The last date to apply is 17 March 2020. All types of reservation and age relaxation will be available only to the candidates who are native to the state of Bihar. Candidates from other states will fall in the unreserved category and will be eligible to apply in the same category. Counselor, Post: 579 (Unreserved-148)
Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Social Work / Sociology / Psychology from recognized university.
Salary: Rs 15,000.
District Urban Health Consultant, Post: 13 (unreserved-03)
Qualification: Master’s degree in Public Health from a recognized institute or two year MBA / PG Diploma with specialization in Public Health / Hospital Management / Health Management / Health Care Management.
With this, at least two years of work experience should be obtained in the field of health service.
Salary: Rs 35,000.
District Community Mobilizer, Post: 26 (Unreserved)
Qualification: Master’s degree in social work from recognized university or post graduate degree in any discipline with specialization of rural development. or
Two years MBA / Post Graduate Diploma with specialization of Rural Development / Rural Management.
Salary: Rs 20,000.
Audiometric Assistant, Post: 11 (Unreserved-03)
Eligibility: One should have one year diploma in audiology along with passing twelfth from recognized schooling board.
Salary: Rs 15,000.
Instructor (Hearing Impaired Children), Post: 11 (Unreserved-03)
Eligibility: Minimum one year diploma in audiology with 12th standard.
Salary: Rs 15,000.
Dental Hygienist, Post: 10 (Unreserved-02)
Qualification: Pass with Biology subject and have done Diploma course in Dental Technician / Dental Hygienist / Dental Mechanic.
In addition, registration with the State Dental Council is mandatory.
Salary: Rs 15,000.
Dental Assistant, Post: 10 (Unreserved-02)
Eligibility: With the passing of class X examination, you should have done a dental assistant’s course of six to 12 months.
Salary: Rs 10,500.
Age Limit (All posts above): Minimum 18 and Maximum 37 years. It will be calculated on January 1, 2020.
- Maximum age limit of 40 years for Backward Class and Extremely Backward Class (Male / Female).
- Maximum age 40 for women candidates of unreserved / EWS category.
- Maximum 42 years for SC / ST (Male / Female) candidates.
- Ten years relaxation has been made in the age limit for the applicants with disability category.
Application fee: Rs. 500 for all category candidates of General / EWS / BC / MBC and other states.
- Rs 250 for SC / ST / Divyang and women candidates of Bihar.
- It can be paid online through credit card / debit card or net banking.
- While paying the online fee, the candidates will have to pay the bank charge separately.
Selection process: The selection of qualified candidates will be done on the basis of marks obtained in the academic qualification and performance in the interview.

- Now a new webpage will open on your computer screen. Here the candidates must first register themselves. For this, click on the Register (New Candidate) option.
- Clicking on the registration page will open. Enter all the information sought here and tick mark in the declaration box as soon as you enter the captcha code. After this, click on submit and continue option.
- Now the login ID and password will be received on the entered mobile number and email. Login with it and open the application form.
Now complete the online application process by paying the application fee as per the given guidelines.
– The application process will not be considered complete without payment of application fee. In addition, during the online application, upload your photograph, signature and scanned copy of other documents as per the prescribed size.
