The Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) has issued a notification for 150 posts of Scientist-B. The engineering graduate and GATE qualified candidates for these posts can apply online till 31st March last date. Candidates can apply on the official website www.bis.gov.in. BIS is the national standards body of India under the Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution, Government of India. It deals with standardization, product and method certification, hallmarking of gold / silver jewelery and laboratory testing etc. in the country.

Eligibility
Candidates with Bachelors in Engineering and Technology and GATE qualified candidates can apply for these posts. For more information about educational qualification, visit the official notification.
Age Range
Applicants must be between 21 and 30 years of age by 31 March 2020. Also, according to the government rules, reserved class exemptions have been given. For more information, see the official notification.
Application fee
General category candidates have to pay an application fee of Rs 100, while there is no application fee for SC, ST, Women and Ex-servicemen.
