The state government has canceled it after complaints of irregularities in the recruitment process for 1278 posts under Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme (MNREGA). For recruitment, applications will be taken out of fresh advertisement and selection will be done after written examination and interview.
Under the Mahatma Gandhi NREGA scheme, 1278 posts will be recruited through the employment portal (www://sewayojan.up.nic.in). The application process will start on August 9 from 12 noon. The applications of three eligible candidates against one vacant post will be sent to the department on the lines of “first-come-first-served” by the Sewa Yojana portal.
Against each vacant post, the list of the first three applicants will be sent and certified. Commissioner Rural Development Awadhesh Kumar Tiwari has written a letter to the Director Information and Public Relations Department for this. As many aspirants can apply according to their eligibility against the total vacancies. The reservation related rules and bye-rules of the state government will be followed in the selection process. These recruitments are to be done in 74 districts of Lucknow, Agra, Aligarh, Ayodhya, Azamgarh, Bareilly, Basti, Chitrakoot, Devipatan, Gorakhpur, Jhansi, Kanpur, Mirzapur, Prayagraj, Varanasi, Moradabad, Saharanpur and Meerut divisions.
Applications are invited for four posts
Recruitment is to be held for 191 posts of Additional Program Officer, 197 posts of Assistant Accountant, 116 posts of Computer Operator and 774 posts of Technical Assistant. The minimum qualification for Additional Program Officer is Post Graduate. Special preference will be given to the holders of MBA, MCA, MSW, B.Tech, BE degree. The honorarium has been kept at Rs 28000 per month. Qualification B.Com is mandatory for Account Assistant. The honorarium is Rs 11200 per month. For Computer Operator, the educational qualification will be O Label or its equivalent and the honorarium will be Rs.11200/- per month. Technical Assistant Minimum Educational Qualification: High School with Diploma in Civil, Mechanical or Electrical Trade. The honorarium of this post has also been kept at Rs 11200 per month.
