UP Aganwadi Recruitment 2021: The application process is being conducted for the recruitment of Anganwadi workers, mini Anganwadi workers and Anganwadi assistants in Anganwadi centers operated in various districts by the Uttar Pradesh Government’s Child Development Services and Nutrition Department. Along with the information about different vacancies for different districts, eligibility and qualification details are being released. The districts for which notifications have been issued include Varanasi, Ghazipur, Hathras, Agra and Mau.

How to apply


For applying for the vacant posts in various districts under Uttar Pradesh Anganwadi Recruitment, candidates can apply through the online application form provided on the official website of the department, balvikasup.gov.in. The process of application has started from 27 March and interested candidates can submit their UP Anganwadi recruitment application online by 16 April 2021.

Before filling UP Anganwadi recruitment online application form, candidates should carefully read the district wise notification as well as the instructions given on the application page. Candidates should note that there is no application fee for UP Anganwadi Recruitment.

Eligibility criteria :-

Candidates desirous of applying for the posts of Anganwadi Worker and Mini Anganwadi Worker should have passed at least High School. The age limit for both the posts is set to be at least 21 years and maximum 45 years as on 1 January 2021. At the same time, the minimum educational qualification for Anganwadi assistants has been fixed at 5th pass and the maximum age limit for these posts is 50 years.

Selection Process

Candidates for UP Anganwadi Anganwadi Worker and Mini Anganwadi Worker posts are to be selected from the Gram Sabha or Ward (in urban areas) of the Center itself. Preference will be given to the candidates belonging to Anganwadi center living below poverty line of Gram Sabha or ward. However, in the absence of these candidates, preference is to be given to widows or divorced women.
