Notification will be issued by Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) for the Central Armed Police Forces (Assistant Commandant) Exam 2021 tomorrow, ie on 15 April. With the release of the notification, the application process will begin. According to the examination calendar available on UPSC’s official website, upsc.gov.in, the last date to apply is May 5, 2021. Through this recruitment, Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs) like- Border Security Force (BSF), Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) and Sashastra Seema Bal ( Assistant Commandants are to be appointed in SSB). This recruitment examination is to be conducted on August 8, 2021.
Educational Qualification and Age Limit
Candidates who have obtained a bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized university or institute will be eligible for this recruitment examination. At the same time, the age of the candidates should be between 20 and 25 years. Detailed information about educational qualification, age limit and other related eligibility will be available after the notification is issued.
The candidates will be selected through written examination, Physical Efficiency Test (PET), Physical Standard Test (PST), Medical Test and Interview / Personality Test. However, the final selection of the candidates will be done by preparing the merit list based on the marks obtained in the written examination and interview.
